One of Europe´s most beautiful and most visited cities, it is the capital of Hungary and bisected by the River Danube. Its 19th-century Chain Bridge connects the hilly Buda district with flat Pest.
The central area of Budapest along the Danube River is classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has several notable monuments of classical architecture, including the Hungarian Parliament and the Buda Castle.
The city also has around 80 geothermal springs, the largest thermal water cave system, second largest synagogue, and third largest Parliament building in the world.

Szechenyi thermal bath - I didn´t get to go, I went to Budapest very spontaneously and did not pack a bikini, but definitely next time!
Szechenyi chain bridge + danube promenade (sculpted bronze shoes as a tribute do the 3,500 Jews executed)
Statues along the promenade:
Chimney Cake Shop/Kurtoskalacshaz (where you can see them make it in the window sill)
Dohany street synagogue (to visit inside you must pay a ticket)
Margaret Island japanese garden
Margaret Island is quite big, it can take half an hour from one end to the other, no one lives there but you see a lot of joggers and dog walkers, there is also a stadium there, a running track, an indoor pool, a water park and a small zoo with dears. There are also sevral ruins but honestly they are not worth it and if you go in sprinf/summer you can see the rose garden.
Metropolitan ervin szabo library
You pay about 5euros to visit but I found it very worth it, there were several beautiful rooms to see where lucky students were studying in.
Central Market Hall Budapest
Danubius fountain and Budapeste eye
Right Next to Eye and Fountain is the Fashion Street:
Liberty bridge
Parliament orszaghaz
St Stephens basilica
Buda castle (+funicular)
Fisherman’s Bastion & mattias church
Citadel
When I went on February 2022 it was temporarily closed but you can still see it from below.
New York Cafe
