Prague- Weekend Away: Recommendations by a Local & Photo Spots

When I went to Prague I was shown around by a local friend, we went up to the castle with the funicular, saw the old town, Charles Bridge, the astronomical clock and the national history museum (Národní Muzeum). Prague is quite small so it's perfect for a weekend to see it all.

Restaurant recommendations (by a local)

-Cafe Savoy

-Nod (cocktails)

-La Bottega Bistro

-Bockem (full breakfast/brunch menu very typical)

-Try some chimney cake (although originally from Hungary)

Fun Fact:The Czech Republic consumes the highest amount of beer in the world

Charles Bridge

Národní muzeum/National Museum - Very much worth the visit, it has an exhibitions on WWI and WWII in Prague.

The Lennon Wall

Prague Castle

The astronomical clock

The "Dancing House" is also very photogenic
