I rented a car and drove from Ljubliana it is a very easy and drive, mostly highway.
Maribor
Maribor is a small city with a nice old town square and beautiful river Drava running through it, it´s worth a stop if you are on the way, if not i wouldn´t travel on purpose, to be honest it´s not worth the drive.
